Yesterday we told you that the new Motorola Backflip Android Smartphone had gone on sale at US mobile phone provider AT&T. It turns out that the version of Google Android installed on the Motorola Backflip isn’t the same as other versions available on Android Smartphones.
One thing is missing, the ability to install unofficial applications from the Android Market has been turned off by AT&T, which is quite surprising considering the whole point of Google Android is that the platform is designed to be completely open.
